Space Dynamics Laboratory

As one of 14 university afiliated research centers in the nation, SDL conducts applied research and engineering development for use in civil, space, and military applications.

State-Of-The-Art Onsite Facilities

The Research Foundation’s multi-building research complex, which includes SDL facilities, encompasses over 220,000 square feet. The complex includes offices and conference space, a comprehensive machine shop, an electronics assembly lab, class 100 cleanrooms with full contamination control services, high-bay integration areas, environmental test facilities, laboratories for system design and assembly, NIST-qualified calibration and characterization facilities, and a spacecraft command and control center.
